Play director Mohammad Noman
has died. He died on Tuesday (December 26) around 1:30pm while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He was suffering from
cancer. SM Kamruzzaman Sagor, General Secretary of the
Director’s Guild, confirmed the
news of the director’s death.
He said, “Director’s Guild Bangladesh member drama director Mohammad Noman passed away. On behalf of the Directors’ Guild, we wish the departed soul peace and extend
our deepest condolences to
the bereaved family.”
Director Noman was suffering from cancer. When his condition became
critical, he was kept in ICU of BSMMU. Before this, the expenses of his treatment were going on with the help of family, close relatives and various organisations. Noman was buried in the family cemetery. He was survived by his
wife and only daughter.
