The US sports ambassadors also conducted a three-day workshop for young football players from February 4-6 at the BFF artificial turf in Arambagh with the participation of some 20-25 bidding booters of 13-16 age group and a mixture team of girls group. The American Centre of US Embassy in Dhaka in partnership with Bangladesh Football Federation hosted two US professional footballers in Dhaka. The visit of the sports envoys is arranged through US Department of State’s Sports United programme, which is devoted to sports diplomacy. Sports United is a programme of the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs devoted to sports diplomacy.
