A man was stabbed and robbed of two lakh taka in Anwara.
The incident took place on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Kala Bibi Dighir Mor area.
Injured Md. Idris is the son of Abdus Salam of Bairag Union.
He said that he was going to pay Tk 2 lakh to a creditor at the head of Barumchara road in a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw from Chatri Choumuhani Bazar.
After crossing the Kala Bibi Dighi intersection on PAB road, three men in an autorickshaw tried to put a handkerchief on his nose. At one stage of the scuffle, they stabbed him and stole 2 lakh 10 thousand taka from him and fled. Later, a passerby rescued him from the autorickshaw and took him to the hospital.
Dr. Anwara Upazila Health Complex. Mamunur Rashid said that the person had stab marks on his hands and feet. He was treated at the hospital.
