Nishat Tasneem Toma busy in singing and acting this time

As the newcomer of the generation – singing and acting – it is a bit difficult for anyone to spread the vibe between the two media. But this difficult work is being done very easily by audience choice singer and actress Nishat Tasneem Toma.
Hailed from Rangpur, Toma’s childhood involvement was with music. By participating in various competitions, Toma obtained the divisional certificates. Her interest in music increased due to her participation in ‘Sera Kontho’ at one time.
In the year 2018, Toma worked as a model in the first advertisement, but her acting journey started from the year 2020. Her acted first drama was SR Majumdar’s ‘Tomar Hatti Dhore’. But her debut solo drama was ‘Prem Aamar’ directed by
Megh Heem. In this drama, the song titled ‘Prem Aamar’ was rendered by Toma.
This song was quite liked by the audience.
The notable dramas starring Tama are: ‘Pathorkuchi’, ‘Ekti Biker Jonno’, ‘Mayurakshi’
and ‘Love Factor’.
In the meantime, Toma has completed the work of the drama ‘Love Factor’ directed by Rakesh Basu. There is a song sung by her in this drama.
However, Toma has acted in the recently
completed drama serial titled ‘Ma Baba Bhai Bon’ directed by Hasan Rezaul.
Toma completed her graduation from Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology.
Her mother Nasima Akhtar is a teacher, while her father died a few years ago. She has worked
as a radio jockey (RJ) since 2022
at ‘Radio Din-Raat 93.6 FM’.
Nishat Tasneem Toma told this correspondent, “I haven’t had the chance to work in movies yet, but I want to. I am willing to express myself in good deeds. I will try to give my best if I get the chance to act as the central character of the drama story. I want to act well with love. Suborna Mustafa is my most favourite actress.”
Toma regularly presents BTV’s two programmes, ‘Ajaker Sokal’ and ‘Suprobhat
Bangladesh’. She also regularly sings songs on the programme of Swadhin Bangla Betar on BTV.
Meanwhile, born on February 11, Toma has performed as model in two music videos. One was a song rendered by Shams titled ‘Antore Rakhi’ and the other was a song by the band ‘Shironamhin’.
