Tariq Anam Khan, Tanjin Tisha’s drama ‘Baba Tumi Kothay’
Entertainment Report :
When the talented playwright and director Priti Dutta produced her first drama, her play featured country’s one of the noted actors, Tariq Anam Khan and popular actress Tanjin Tisha.
After a long time, Priiti Dutta once again produced a drama with a story that revolves around the two of them. Title of the drama is ‘Baba Tumi Kothay’. The drama is written by its director Priti Dutta herself. In the meantime, the shooting of the drama has been completed in different locations of Uttara of the capital.
In the drama, Tariq Anam Khan played the role of the father and Tanjin Tisha played the role of his daughter.
While talking about the drama, its director Priti Dutta told this correspondent, “The story of the drama is exactly that of a father’s memory loss. That is why he forgets many things of the recent past. That father disappeared from home one day. His daughter kept looking for him. The story of the drama goes on. I will never have the ability and courage to speak about the performance of Tariq Anam Sir. Yet I will say I asked him ten, and he gave me a hundred. Since Tanjin Tisha lost her father a few days ago. Again, on the day of shooting, there was a lot of trouble in her personal life. But still Tisha has done a great job. I was impressed with her performance.”
Tariq Anam Khan said, “As a director Priti Dutta was quite flexible in her direction. The story is simply great. Since the time when the drama was shot, Tisha was passing the time with a problem. That’s why Tisha has tried to act very well even if she is a little different at times. During shooting time, Tisha told me please don’t mind if it’s wrong sir. But still what Priti wants I think we have touched the core of the story. It is hoped that the audience will like this drama.”
Priti Dutta informed that this drama will be aired on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fire or Father’s Day.
Priti Dutta first made a drama titled ‘Jerin O Joler Golpo’ casting Tariq Anam Khan and Tanjin Tisha. It was Priti’s first directed drama. Meanwhile, actress Tanjin Tisha lost her father Abul Kalam on February 12, 2022.
