Abul Bashar gets ‘Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Award -2023’

Alhaj Abul Bashar Abu, noted industrialist and owner of Hotel Sea World, also Chairman of Bashar Group, received the ‘Nepal Bangladesh Friendship Award 2023’ in recognition of his special contribution to the development of tourism industry at a joint initiative of the Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Society and the Asian Business Partnership Summit held in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The honor crest was conferred recently in a grand ceremony at Hotel Thamel Park Auditorium in Kathmandu.

The chief guest of the programme, General Secretary of Nepali Congress, Dina Upadhyay presented the crest.

Tritha Bahadur Lama, Minister of Ministry of Water, Energy and Irrigation, Government of Nepal, Minister of Climate Environment and Technology Affairs Ganesh Saha, Senior Vice President of People’s Promotion Party Shivaji Yadav, Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Ministry of Social Welfare Mr. Kamrul Islam Chowdhury.

Ghulam Farooq Majnu, director of Asian Business Partnership Summit, gave a welcome speech on behalf of Bangladesh and Jyoti Karki and others gave a welcome speech on behalf of Nepal.
