What Ferdous says after getting Awami League ticket in Dhaka-10 constituency

Popular film actor Ferdous Ahmed has been nominated
for the Dhaka-10 constituency in the upcoming 12th National Parliament elections.
After receiving the nomination from the party, he expressed his opinion to this correspondent.
Ferdous, the National Film Award winning actor said, “Alhamdulillah, honorable Prime Minister and daughter of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina considered me worthy and nominated me. I am very grateful to her. It feels very good; it is a great honor to get the responsibility of the boat symbol.”
Ferdous also said, “I want to work under the direction of the honorable Prime Minister. But I have some plans of my own. If I win, I will try my best to implement them. Besides, I have several plans with the film industry. I want to work with education outside of routine work.”
Apart from acting, this popular hero has been involved with the politics of Bangladesh Awami League for a long time.
Meanwhile, Ferdous attended the 73rd session of the United Nations as a travelling companion of the Prime Minister in addition to being in the front row at various party events.
It is noted that Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the names of the candidates nominated by the Awami League at Bangabandhu Avenue on Sunday around 4:00pm.
