AL progs in 19 spots to protest blockade of BNP

City Awami League held a peace rally at 19 spots on Wednesday (November 15) to prevent anarchy and arson attacks by anti-independence forces including BNP and Jamaat.

The matter was informed in a press release on Tuesday (November 14). The spots are – Darul Fazal Market Square, Katgarh, Saltgola Crossing, Badamtali, Bahaddarhat, Nayabazar, AK Khan, City Gate, Wasa, Muradpur, Kaptai Road Head, Oxygen, Aman Bazar, Moti Tower, Baklia Access Road, New Bridge, Andarkilla and Dewanhat Mor. Leaders and workers of all levels of the city, thana , ward, units of Awami League and its front organisations are joined the protest rallies City Awami League general secretary AJM Nasir Uddin called to participate.
