UNB, Gazipur :
The fire which broke out at Safwan Foil and Quality Tex factory at Chandra in Kaliakoir upazila of Gazipur district on Tuesday night, was doused after two hours of efforts, said fire service.
The fire broke out at the factory around 11:15 pm and spread soon, said Rakibul Hasan, duty officer at the Fire Service Control Room
On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze after two hours.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
