Idhika Paul responds to Dipjol’s statement

This year Eid-ul-Azha’s movie ‘Priyotoma’ starring Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan was released. Directed by Himel Ashraf, Kolkata’s Idhika Paul paired up with Shakib Khan in this movie. Apart from Bangladesh, this movie was very successful in USA, Canada and Sydney of Australia. This time
this successful movie has been released in India.
Meanwhile, Idhika Paul recently came to Bangladesh. A government documentary was shot in Faridpur. Idhika also participated in some commercial activities. After
completing works, she went back to her home last Tuesday.
Before leaving Bangladesh, Idhika spoke with the journalists of this country. The actress told media that she is still in the fascination of the success of the movie ‘Priyotoma’.
She will go to Kolkata and watch her movie with her family and friends. But she will miss Shakib Khan. Idhika said, “Shakib Khan is in India but he is busy with
shooting. It would be nice to sit and watch the movie with him.”
Recently, Dhallywood’s popular villain actor and producer Manowar Hossain Dipjal made a harsh
comment about Idhika’s clothes.
He said, “The clothes that Idhika Paul wears are obscene.”
There has been a lot of discussion on social media about his statement.
This time the actress Idhika Paul responded to Dipjol’s statement.
In response to questions from the journalists, Idhika said, “I know
he (Dipjol) is a senior artiste. He is called ‘Movie Lord’ here. I did not expect this kind of comment from him. I myself think that none of my clothes are obscene. Be it acting or social media. I don’t know why he said that. Only those who have
profanity in mind can make such comments about a girl’s dress. One’s behaviour can be sensed from these. I can’t say more than that because
he is my senior. I respect him.”
Meanwhile, Idhika Paul is going to work in a new movie in Bangladesh. She will be seen in Hasibur Reza Kallol’s movie ‘Kobi’. Sariful Razz will be hero of Idhika in this movie. While talking about acting in this movie, Idhika Paul told this correspondent, “It could be. But the contract has not been confirmed with me yet to act in this movie. However there have been discussions. I got the script. I like it. The decision will
come very soon in this regard.”
Regarding talking about Bangladeshi actor Sariful Razz, Idhika Paul said, “He (Sariful Razz) is very good actor. Several of his movies have done well. There has been a lot of discussion. I would love to work with him.”
