Nawshaba’s ‘Meghna Konnya’ releasing on November 17

A new movie titled ‘Meghna Konnya’, starring actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed and directed by Fuad Chowdhury, is set to release in nationwide theatres on November 17.

The movie is produced jointly by Kazi Saiful Islam and Anwar Azad.
The story of the movie revolves around the issue of women trafficking and portrays a dream-fulfillment story through two women from different backgrounds who encounter various social barriers.
Nawshaba plays the character of Hashi, who has a passion for dance but is tragically sold into prostitution. Despite its focus on the challenging topic of women trafficking, the movie offers ample entertainment within a rural setting to engage the audience. In addition to Nawshaba, the movie features a talented cast, including Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shatabdi Wadud, Sajjad Hossain, Samonty Das Shoumi, among others, in pivotal roles.
The music of the movie is directed by the popular musician Sharmin Sultana Sumi of the Chirkutt band, and the screenplay and dialogues are written by Fahmidur Rahman and Ahmed Khan Hirak, respectively.
