Shaon Chowdhury wins Int’l award again for music

After New Delhi and Dubai, Bangladeshi singer Shaon Chowdhury received an international award in music from Thailand.

Shaon received the ‘Global Achievement International Award in Music’ for his international contribution to music.

It is his 11st international award in music.

While sharing his feelings to get the award, Shaon Chowdhury told this correspondent, “Pure music is the love of my soul.

Receiving the award is recognition of good work. So, it motivates more good deeds.”

Apart from Bengali, this artiste also sings in Hindi, Urdu and English regularly.

Most of which have been released from India.

Although this disciple is a confidant of the famous classical musician of the subcontinent, Ustad Niaz Mohammad Chowdhury, Shaon is mainly a modern music artiste.

He is also adept at rendering ghazals.

He has also played playback in several movies.

Shaon’s musical pursuits began in 1973.
