UNB, Dhaka :
A fire broke out at a high-rise building in the capital’s Mohakhali area on Thursday afternoon.
The fire started on the thirteen floor of the 14-storey Khwaja Tower around 5 pm, said Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters media cell.
On information, eleven firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to tame the blaze.
No casualties were reported as yet, he said.
Meanwhile, members of the Bangladesh Army, Air Force, and Navy joined the operation to control the fire, according to the ISPR.
