UNB, Dhaka :
BNP’s Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon was picked up by the Detective Branch (DB) of police from Dhaka’s Sipahibagh area early Thursday.
Razib Al Masud, deputy commissioner of Motijheel division of DB, said detectives detained him as he was “wanted in several cases” filed in Dhaka and Narsingdi districts.
Meanwhile, the BNP leader’s wife Shirin Sultana said that DB police detained Khokon from his brother’s house in Sipahibagh area around 2 am.
