Jenny and Amin Khan cousins, their identity unknown to many

Noted film actor Amin Khan and popular TV actress Nowrin Hasan Khan Jenny are cousins, their identity unknown
to many.

After completing HSC from Khulna City College, Amin Khan moved to Dhaka to his uncle Abu Hasan Khan, who is father of actress Jenny.

At that time, Jenny’s father’s salon ‘Tulip’ in the capital’s Moghbazar area was frequented by many film producers and directors.

Besides, many of the media people were in contact with Amin Khan’s uncle at that time.

When Abu Hasan Khan’s nephew Swapon (Amin Khan’s nickname) was seen there, everyone expressed interest in making him act as a hero.

At that young age, Amin Khan was like a hero. Everyone liked to see the quiet and calm nature of Swapon.

So, with this uncle’s inspiration, Amin Khan eagerly entered the competition titled ‘Notun Mukher Sondhane’ organised by BFDC in 1991 and became the ultimate winner.

Later, Amin Khan made his film debut with Mohammad Hossain’s movie ‘Abujh Duti Mon’ (1993).

Amin Khan’s father Lokman Ali Khan and Jenny’s father Abu Hasan Khan are two brothers. Along with Jenny’s father, Amin Khan’s three other uncles have died. Only Amin Khan’s father is alive.

Amin Khan’s wife is Snigdha Khan and Jenny’s present husband is Tanveer Khan.

Amin Khan and Nowrin Hasan Khan Jenny were present together in an event recently. There they are both captured by the camera frame.

Amin Khan has expressed gratitude to his uncle Abu Hasan Khan throughout his film career. Whenever he is confronted in an interview, he speaks specifically about his uncle.

While talking in this regard, Amin Khan told this correspondent, “My uncle Abu Hasan Khan, that is Jenny’s father, sowed the seed of becoming me today.

If he did not inspire me, did not give me courage, did not participate in the ‘Notun Mukher Sondhane’, then I would not have become a hero.

That’s why I am always grateful to uncle, uncle’s family. Now uncle is not alive. May Allah grant him Jannat.

I have my many prayers for my sister Jenny who is my sister – this is really very proud for me.”

Jenny shared her feelings by this way, “Swapon Bhai is always very responsible towards the family, the people of the family.

In 2019, my father and mother went for Hajj with Swapon Bhai.

At that time he took care of my father and mother with his best.

I am especially indebted to him for this reason, and express my gratitude for this reason. Swapon bhai is the pride of our family.”
