Sayantika in Bangladesh as Zayed’s heroine, shooting of movie begins

Despite defying rumours of collaborations with Kolkata’s heroine Sayantika Banerjee, ‘Antor Jwala’ actor Zayed Khan had been spotted shootingwith the actress in Cox’s bazar for Taju Kamrul’s movie titled ‘Chhayabaz’.

The shooting ofthe movie began on Thursday.

It was confirmed by actor Zayed Khan yesterday.

Earlier on August 9, the actor bluntly denied the rumours, saying, “I don’t know anything about acting with Sayantika in a new movie yet.

I recently returned to Bangladesh from the United States and am currently enjoying my time in my hometown.

I don’t know anything about working with this heroine yet.

I’ll let you know if anythingconcerning this comes up.”

However, in a recent conversation with this newspaper, the actorclarified the issue.

“Earlier on, I didn’t have any talks with the director; I just signed the movie a few days ago.

I couldn’t say anything about the film as I hadn’t signed up for the movie at that time.

This is the first time that I will be acting with an actress from Kolkata,” Zayed Khan said.

It is mentioned that Sayantika Banerjee haspreviously been featured in Indo-Bangladesh joint venture ‘Naqaab’ (2018) where she sharedthe screen with Dhallywood’s popularhero Shakib Khan.
