A 41-year-old man was killed and five others sustained injuries in a road accident at Laxmipur Bazar of Lalpur upazilla under Natore district on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Harun-Ur-Rashid, 41, a worker of Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant.
Lalpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Uzzal Hossain said the accident occurred when a private car hit a motor-cycle and some rickshaws losing its control at Laxmipur Bazar of Lalpur upazilla, leaving six people injured.
Later, locals rescued the injured and took them to Lalpur Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared motor cyclist Harun-Ur-Rashid dead.
