Tareen making her film debut under direction of Hridi Haq

The movie ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’, based on the story of Bangladesh’s liberation war, was made with government grants. The movie is directed by Hridi Haq, the daughter
of noted star couple Dr Enamul Huque and Lucky Enam. The story idea of this movie was drawn by Hridi Haq’s father Dr Enamul Haque. Popular TV actress Tareen is going to make her debut on the silver screen by this movie directing Hridi Haq. That’s why especially Tareen’s fans
are waiting for the release of the movie.
In the meantime, Hridi Haq, Tareen and others who acted in the movie are busy in the promotion of the movie because ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’ is going to be released on August 18 in the country’s theatres. Hridi Haq, Ferdous Ahmed, Litu Anam, Sonia Hossain and many others have acted in various roles in this movie.
While talking about the movie, its director and also actress, Hridi Haq told this correspondent, “Last May 29 was my father’s birthday. On that day, we officially started the campaign for the movie by showing the trailer of the movie so that we can feel my father every moment. Everyone was impressed by the trailer. The songs those were released later have created love among everyone. Seeing the trailer and teasers, I felt the love among everyone; I believe that the movie will create more love among the audience when it is released because I have made the movie with a lot of care keeping the audience in mind. My sincere gratitude and love to everyone who acted in it because everyone has laboured in the production of my first movie. I have my infinite love and gratitude to those who are behind the movie. Now just I am waiting for the time, so that the audience can go to the hall and enjoy the movie. It is a period film. And to highlight that time was a very difficult task for me. But I tried my best. An actress like Tareen Jahan is less in our industry. What character is she playing, what to do in which scene – when a director can answer such questions under her direction one Tareen Jahan has done a great performance which she has done in my movie.” Tareen told this correspondent, “Age of Hridi, the writing of her has always seemed very mature to me. I have seen plays directed by her. So, I am in the first movie of her, I am really happy for this. She is very picky and a perfectionist. A lot of comfort zone for an actor until the performance is 100 per cent like the director does not say ok. So, Hridi is such a director. Hridi Haq is picky that we have to re-suit. Hridi gave a lot of time to re-production. That’s why all of us are very optimistic about the movie.”
