Bidya Sinha Mim plays role of Panna Kaiser in new movie

Panna Kaiser is a writer, intellectual and politician. In a golden evening of Mass Upsurge of 1969, she started her conjugal life with famous journalist and writer Shahidullah Kaiser. However, their happy family did not last long. On December 14, 1971,
Al-Badr forces captured Shahidullah Kaiser. He never came back.
After that, a different kind of battle of Panna Kaiser started with the daughter Shomi and son Amitabh. Panna chose teaching as a profession. Inspired by the ideals of her husband’s life, she started writing later. In Panna Kaiser’s autobiographical book titled ‘Muktijuddho: Agey O Pore’ she brought out her life struggle, days of liberation war, above all different aspects of Shahidullah Kaiser’s life.
This time the movie is being made based on Panna Kaiser’s autobiographical book ‘Muktijuddo: Agey O Pore’. Wahid Tarek is directing the movie titled ‘Digonte Phuler Agun’. Bidya Sinha Mim is playing the role of Panna Kaiser. Mostafa Monwar is in the role of Shahidullah Kaiser. Shooting has started from August 1.
Actress Bidya Sinha Mim posted a picture on social media yesterday and announced the news of this new movie.
In the picture, Mim’s hand is seen clapstick. It contains the name of the movie, director, cinematographer and the date of shooting.
While talking about acting in this movie, Mim told this correspondent, “The movie ‘Digonte Phuler Agun’ is being made by ‘Dhanshiri’ Production, the production house of noted actress Shomi Kaiser, who is also the daughter of Shahidullah Kaiser-Panna Kaiser couple.
Actress Mim is excited to get the opportunity to act in such a historical story and character. She shared her feelings by this way, “The movie is about the life of Panna Kaiser. Here I am acting in the character of Panna Kaiser. From her studies to love, family with Shahidullah Kaiser – all her life story will emerge in it. Being able to act in such a role is undoubtedly a great opportunity for me.”
The movie ‘Digonte Phuler Agun’ of government grant is likely to be released this year, Mim also said.
