‘Priyotoma’ heroine Idhika Paul comes to Dhaka again

The movie ‘Priyotoma’ was released last Eid-ul-Azha. Produced by Versatile Media,
the movie was directed by Himel Ashraf. Idhika Paul, an actress from Kolkata, has come into the discussion by playing the title role in the movie opposite Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan. In this movie, Idhika played the role of ‘Iti’. Her fluent performance has impressed the audience. Especially at the end of the movie, the fate of her life and the last letter she left for her lover left a mark on the viewers’ hearts.
Naturally, with the first movie of her life, Idhika Paul has become a popular heroine for the audience of this country. Her value has also increased in Kolkata. She may be involved in more movies soon.
Idhika Paul, who became the darling of the Bangladeshi audience with the movie ‘Priyotoma’, may be thinking of becoming a regular in Dhallywood too. So, her travel to Dhaka has increased.
Last week she travelled from Dhaka. Idhika sat in the cinema hall and watched her movie. Within a few days she came back to Dhaka. She rushed from Kolkata on the night of July 30. The objective was to join the emergence of a coffee shop. On the evening of July 31, she opened the coffee shop located in Dhanmondi of the capital and returned to her home on Tuesday. Meanwhile, she travelled across the city. While talking about her this time visit in Bangladesh, Idhika Paul told this correspondent, “I have made my royal debut on the big screen with Bangladeshi movies. This is my absolute find. The audience here, the movie people have made me close. Their love has fascinated me. I want to come to Dhaka again and again because of that love.”
When asked whether she will work in any new movie, Idhika said, “I will definitely do it if I get a good job. Since I have had a journey like a dream here, why not work as Bat says? Of course I will. I have already getting somewhere with some works. Let’s see what happens.”
The movie ‘Priyotoma’ is now in its fifth week after its release. The movie is still being seen in more than half a hundred cinema halls. It is running in the theatres of many countries including the United States and Canada.
