Patuakhali police arrested two in connection of stealing motorcycle and taking wife to pleasure trip at Kuakata collecting money by selling that.
Patakhali Sadar Thana police arrested these two members of motorcycle thief gang from Kuakata of Patuakhali and Bhandaria of Pirojpur district on early Tuesday.
The arrested persons are Bahauddin Rabbi (24), son of deceased Babul Faraji of Dinarer Pool area under Sadar upazila of Barishal and Sohail Howlader (30), son of Mannan Howladar of Nadamullah area under Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur districts. Both are the members of a professional motorcycle- thief gang.
The stolen Suzuki Zixwer band motorcycle was also recovered and handed over to the owner and the arrestees sent to Patuakhali jail on Tuesday afternoon.
Officer-in-charge of Patuakhali Sadar Police Station Muhammad Jasim confirming the matter said on July 16 afternoon the gang stole the motorcycle from the parking lot of Suborna Tower in Titas Cinema area in Patuakhali district town.
Engineer Abu Taher Imran, the owner of the stolen motorcycle, filed a case at Patuakhali police station in this incident.
