The duo of Mahfuz Ahmed and Aupee Karim returning

Mahfuz Ahmed and Aupee Karim, the once popular pair of TV
dramas, are returning to the
screen after a long break. But not
in the drama, this pair will be
seen again in the web series.
They are working together in Safayet Mansur Rana directed
web series titled ‘Adrisshyo’.
Director Safayet Mansur Rana has confirmed the performance of Mahfuz and Aupee in this series.
He also said that 50 per cent
of the series has already been completed. Now the shooting
is going on. The series is slated
to release on OTT platform,
Hoi Choi in September.
Mahfuz Ahmed is making his debut with ‘Adrisshyo’ web series. However, Aupee Karim worked
in this medium earlier. In 2019, Aupee acted in Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s ‘Dhaka Metro’ web series. It was also released on Hoi Choi. Mahfuz Ahmed has returned to the big screen after eight years recently. His movie ‘Prohelika’, directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, was released in theatres last Eid. Shobnom Bubly acted opposite Mahfuz in this movie.
Mahfuz’s performance in role of ‘Mona’ in this movie has been appreciated. During the promotion of the movie, Mahfuz said that
if he gets the role he likes, he will be seen regularly in acting. He
kept his word by acting in ‘Adrisshyo’ web series.
However, Mahfuz is reluctant to talk about his character. He said that it is forbidden to talk about
the character. He just said that
he is going through a completely new experience.
The story of a successful businessman and a leading political leader will be seen in the web series ‘Adrisshyo’. Everyone bows down at his feet because of his power.
But suddenly one day the ground under his feet moved. He was kidnapped. The mystery
deepens when he is suddenly released. Why was he kidnapped, and why was he released – the answers to those questions will
be known in this web series.
