Priyanka Gope’s song in movie ‘Priyotoma’

‘Priyotoma’ has been released in many countries across the country. The movie ‘Priyotoma’ starring Shakib Khan and Idhika Paul, produced by Arshad Adnan and directed by Himel Ashraf has also become the talk of the world. The
audience is impressed by the performance of Shakib, Idhika and others in
the movie. Apart from acting, two
songs – ‘O Priyotoma’ and ‘Ishwar’
have already come into discussion.
Another song from the movie ‘Priyotoma’ was released on YouTube
last Wednesday. The title of the song is ‘Gobhire’ and the song is penned by Zahid Akbar. Music of the song was composed by Sajid Sarkar. The song was rendered by noted singer and current Associate Professor of the Department of Music of Dhaka University, Priyanka Gope. Rehaan Rasul gave voice with Priyanka Gope in this duet song.
The song has already been enjoyed by more than 12 lakhs (till 12 noon on July 13) after its release. It is expected that the number of this song will increase soon. While talking about singing in the movie ‘Priyotoma’ and getting response from the viewers, singer Priyanka Gope told this correspondent, “This is the first time to sing my song in a movie starring Bangladeshi movie superstar Shakib Khan. The lyrics are very beautiful. When I was sent to sing the first song,
I liked it. Later, I sang the song with Sajid Sarkar’s beautiful music composition. After the release of the movie, those who went to the cinema halls and enjoyed the song liked it. However, after this release on YouTube, I am getting
a lot of positive feedback.

Priyanka said that she lent her voice for the playback songs in Manik Manobik’s movie ‘Ajob Chhele’ and Abdus Sobhan Khokon’s ‘Srabon Joshnai’. These songs are now waiting to release.
