Not Darshana Banik, Puja Cherry is heroine of movie ‘Lipstick’

Last month, director Kamruzzaman Roman announced the production of the movie ‘Lipstick’ with Ador Azad and Kolkata’s heroine Darshana Banik. Darshana Banik from Kolkata also informed that she
is doing the movie. After a month, the heroine of the movie changed. Not Darshana Banik, Bangladeshi actress Puja Cherry Roy will be seen opposite Ador Azad in the movie ‘Lipstick’.
Last Monday night Puja Cherry signed the movie.
While talking about the change of the heroine in the movie, its director Kamruzzaman Roman told this correspondent, “We have no written agreement with Darshana Banik. She was spoken to verbally. However, considering the current state of foreign currency in our country, we were thinking about someone else. Puja Cherry fits very well with the story. After telling the story to Puja, she likes it very much. So, I decided to make a movie about her. We already have written agreement with Puja.”
The director also said that the shooting of this movie of action thriller genre will start from the 2nd of next month.
Dhaka and Bhola will be the scenes of this movie. The story, dialogues and screenplay of the movie ‘Lipstick’ are written by Abdullah Zaheer Babu and produced by Smart Multimedia.
While talking about the movie, actress Puja Cherry told this correspondent, “After a long time, I signed a new movie. In between I got many movie offers. But no story could pull me. ‘Lipstick’ felt like my story. Viewers will watch me anew in this movie. That is why I am associated with the movie.”
‘Lipstick’ will be Adar Azad and Puja Cherry’s second movie. Earlier, they worked together in the movie ‘Nakphul’. The movie, directed by Alok Hassan, is awaiting release.
Meanwhile, after the last three Eids, Puja Cherry is not releasing any movie this Eid.
She was last seen in the movie ‘Jinn’ directed by Nader Chowdhury on Eid. Puja’s performance in this horror genre movie was appreciated. Abdun Noor Sajal was opposite her in this movie.
