Lyricist Ahmed Yusuf Saber dies

Noted lyricist, playwright and director Ahmed Yusuf Saber, passed away on Thursday around 5:30pm
following a cardiac arrest.
Ahmed Yusuf Saber’s contributions as a lyricist are unforgettable, with several popular songs bearing his mark.
Among notable works being, ‘Jokhoni Nibir Kore’ (Niloy Das), ‘Sukhi Manusher Bhire’ (Feedback), ‘Mayabi e Raate’ (Sumona Haque), ‘Ek Noynone Hoi Na Kandon’ (Malay Kumar Ganguly), ‘Rebel’ (Feedback), and many more.
His talents extended beyond lyric writing, as he also crafted jingles for numerous commercials and directed impactful ad campaigns.
He was also a lifetime member of ‘Gitikobi Shongho’.
