This time singer Armeen Musa in stage play

Armeen Musa grew up in the atmosphere of music since childhood. She studied music at Berkley College of Music in the United States. While there, she released her debut album titled ‘Ay Ghum Bhangai’ in 2008. Returning to the country, she grasped the music better, created the singing group titled ‘Gashphoring Choir’. She rendered the playback song in Kolkata’s movie ‘Bhoot Chaturdashi’.
In addition, her song titled ‘Jaago Piya’ was also in the ‘Suruwat’ album, which was nominated for the Grammy Awards last year. Armeen Musa was last seen performing on Coke Studio Bangla’s song ‘Deora’. The new news is that Armeen Musa will be seen in stage play.

Written by Neelima Ibrahim, ‘Ami Birangana Bolchhi’ is coming to the stage with a new play based on the book ‘Spardha’. Syed Jamil Ahmed is giving direction of the play. The play is currently being rehearsed. Armeen Musa and his band ‘Ghashphoring Choir’ will conduct the music in this play.
It is known that Armeen Musa is supposed to act in this drama in addition to directing the music. She did not give any details when contacted about this. However, she did not confess anything about acting on stage.
Armeen Musa told this correspondent, “I can’t say anything about this before the official announcement.”

Sushmita of Spardha Natyadal said, “Who are the actors in the play can’t be said right now. Syed Jamil Ahmed Sir has strict restrictions in this regard. But I can say this that there are nine actors in this play. Of which seven are women and two men. On June 15, a press conference is scheduled to be held where details regarding the play will be disclosed.”
On June 16, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s Jatiya Natyashala Studio Theatre will host the play ‘Ami Birangana Bolchhi’. Theatre group ‘Spardha’ will perform 21 shows in 15 consecutive days on the same stage.
Along with the direction, the stage and lighting design and music was selected by Syed Jamil Ahmed, while Mohsina Akhtar in dramaturgy and costume design, MS Rana in assistant direction and Armeen Musa and ‘Ghashphoring Choir’ in music for the play.
