Fazlur Rahman Babu has won several National Film Awards for his acting in movies. A different Fazlur Rahman Babu was seen in the drama ‘Dai’ written by Litu Sakhawat and directed by Sokal Ahmed released on YouTube a few days ago. In this drama, he was seen in the role of an unemployed and depressed father who worked day and night for his mother, wife and children but did not get love from family members. Rather, he died at a time of stress.
Babu’s impeccable performance with Geetoshree, Monira Mithu, Alankar Chowdhury impressed the audience. Babu is impeccable in acting, this is nothing new. Even then, the charisma that Babu shows in new roles is the magic of his acting.
Fazlur Rahman Babu told this correspondent, “I have known Sokal Ahmed ever since he worked with Taher Shipon as his assistant. Later, when Sokal Ahmed himself started working as a director alone, it can be said that he tried to put me in almost every drama. Maybe he doesn’t get a budget like Gias Uddin Selim, Nurul Alam Atique, but within the limited budget that he gets, he works hard and tries to do the work well. As a director, he is undoubtedly talented. I liked working in the drama ‘Dai’. As usual, I am getting good response for working in this drama.”
Fazlur Rahman Babu said that he has already completed the web content work of ‘Ami Ki Tumi’ directed by Vicky Zahed. At the moment, he is at his home in West Alipur of Faridpur city with his wife and daughter. There he is walking around according to the word given by his wife and children, said the actor.
