Tarokakothon: Pioneer of live star talk show

Channel i started the first ‘Tarokakothon’ (star talk)
as a direct celebrity show in this country. Faridur
Reza Sagor and Shykh Seraj’s plan is to give viewers
the opportunity to talk to their favourite star on a phone call, for the first time on any TV channel.
Due to its completely different concept, the
programme creates great curiosity in the audience.
The programme recently completed 20 years.
Anonna Ruma was in charge of producing this show for more than 20 years.
While talking about her journey with ‘Tarokakothon,’ Anonna Ruma told this correspondent, “My life revolved around the programme, ‘Tarokakothon’. I was able to learn a lot through this programme under the leadership of Sagor Bhai and Seraj Bhai. The biggest achievement of such a long journey is that many people have become big stars today by starting their careers by presenting on ‘Tarokakothon’. So, the showbiz industry of Bangladesh is involved with this programme. I am fortunate to be associated with such a programme like ‘Tarokakothon.”
It is mentioned that with the concept of ‘Tarokakothon’, several TV channels in this country later started this genre of programmes on their channels.
However, this programme of Channel i has pioneered as the first concept.
