Dilara Zaman, an Ekushey Padak winner veteran actress, is still acting regularly
at the age of 81. A few days ago, a movie starring her was also released. Her
performance in the movie has been well received by the audience. Dilara Zaman is such a great actress, especially in

Dilara Zaman’s last released movie was the short film ‘Omar Faruker Maa’ directed by M M Rahim. She played

Dilara Zaman first acted in the drama in 1957 when she was a school student. The play was Sarat Chandra’s ‘Mamlar Fol.’ In 1966, Nazmul Alam wrote and Atiqul Haque Chowdhury

in 1992. She won the National Film Award for her performance in the
movie ‘Chandrogrohon’ directed
by Murad Parvez.
Dilara Zaman was born on June 19, 1943. Dilara Zaman’s writing was first published in the first in Ittefaq in 1956
in the page of ‘Kochikanchar Pata’. She was very happy to see her name

In 1963, when she studied at Dhaka University, she performed at ‘Ekankikay’ on the open stage of the Bangla Academy at the annual conference of
the East Pakistan Students’ Union. In the same year, she acted in DUCSU’s play titled ‘Mayabi Prohor’ written by Alauddin Al Azad. In the drama,
she played the role of Abdullah Al Mamun’s wife. By playing the role
of a mother in Bangladeshi dramas and movies, she is respected as a
mother by everyone here. Viewers respect Dilara Zaman like their own mother. While talking in this regard, Dilara Zaman told this correspondent,
“I am still acting from the heart with the love of the audience. The love that
I get from people on the way constantly makes me very emotional. I would not have received this love and respect of people if I did not act.”
