Pori Moni gets Anandabazar Online Best Actress award

Dhallywood’s popular actress Pori Moni was awarded the
Best Actress of the Year by Anandabazar Online recently. Anandabazar Online, a popular media of West Bengal in India, has chosen the ‘Best Actress of the Year’ from among the eminent persons of the two Bengal every year. The media recognised 10 prominent Bangladeshis for the award. Among the selected
persons, Pori Moni has been recognised as the best actress, said a press release.
The actress received the award from CPM State Secretary Mohammad Salim and actress Rituparna Sengupta at ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata.
During receiving the award, Pori Moni said, “Both Bangladesh and Kolkata should work together to improve film industry. Films made by two Bangla’s producers should be showcased in the two places.”
In addition, West Bengal actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Anirban Bhattacharya handed over award to Ritwick Chakraborty as the Best Actor.
Pori Mani posted a status on her verified Facebook on Monday expressing her feelings regarding receiving the award, “It is truly an honour and prestigious achievement for me. I am grateful to my well-wishers, viewers, fans, and followers, for whom I stand here today.”
