Ador-Bubly’s movie ‘Local’ can be like a ‘Poran’ cinema

Saif Chandan directed movie ‘Local’ has been added to the list of Eid movies. In the run of so many movies, ‘Local’ have gained momentum. But before the
release, the audience and film
makers showed interest in the movie by watching the trailer.
That interest paid off after the release of the movie.
Senior Manager of Media and Marketing Department of Star Cineplex Mesbahuddin Ahmed said that the movie ‘Local’ is getting good audience at Star Cineplex since Eid day.
He told this correspondent, “Leader’ and ‘Kill Him’ are two big budget movies. These two movies are different. We are impressed by the audience’s interest in ‘Local’ cinema outside of this. The movie got less, campaign time got less. The movie had a chance to become a hit like ‘Poran’ if proper campaign was done. Even then, it can’t be said that I am seeing interest from next week, the ‘Local’ movie can be like a ‘Poran’ cinema.”
Mesbah Uddin also said, “The movie ‘Local’ was almost house-full on the day of Eid, but the movie was completely house-full on the second and third day. The tickets of ‘Local’ run out before the specified time. We hope the movie will go better next week.”
The director said about the movie ‘Local’ in the discussion despite getting less cinema halls, “The trailer and songs of the movie before its release have been liked by the audience. I can see the audience’s interest in the movie this time. ‘Local’ is going well from the first day of its release. All the shows on Sunday and Monday got house-full. This is a big achievement for me. I think the movie will do better next week.” The story of the movie mainly revolves around the struggle for power in a region. From law-crime to politics, thrills are all in this movie. Ador Azad and Shobnom Bubly played the lead roles in the movie.
According director of the movie, story of ‘Local’ portrays the local political thriller genre. The struggle, life and culture of the people of a Mufassal area have been highlighted in the movie. Ador Azad played the role of a ‘Mastan’ type son of the area. Bubly is also shown in a different form in the movie.
Story and script of the movie were written by Ferari Farhad. Besides Ador Azad and Bubly, Misha Sawdagor, Sanju John, Elina Shammi, Anwar, Swadhin, Shiba Shanu, Don, Boroda Mithu, Ahmed Sharif also acted in the movie ‘Local.’
