Konal will perform music at reunion of Rani Bhabani School

listeners’ choice popular singer Somnur Monir Konal will perform music at the reunion of Rani Bhabani Model Government High School’
at Madhupur in Tangail. Singer
Konal herself confirmed the
news on Sunday.
On the third day of Eid of next
Eid-ul-Fitr, ie if Eid is on April
22 then on April 24, if this Eid is on April 23 then on April 25, Konal will perform music on the field of Rani Bhabani School. This is the first time Konal is going to perform music
in a function organised by
Rani Bhabani High School of Madhupur in Tangail.
There is excitement around Konal’s presence especially among the
students of this generation of
Rani Bhabani High School. They
are eagerly waiting to enjoy the song in Konal’s voice.
While talking about to perform music at Rani Bhabani Model Government High School at Madhupur in Tangail, singer Konal told this correspondent, “When I
started singing professionally, the first time I performed outside Dhaka was in a show in Cumilla. After that,
I actually sang in many shows. However, this is the first time I am going to sing song at the reunion
programme organised by Rani Bhabani High School. If everything goes well, Inshallah I will meet and students and teachers of this school. To be honest, I like to sing song in
any show outside Dhaka because they listen to all kinds of music.
With each song there is their cordial
participation. I hope this reunion of Rani Bhabani will be pleasant and memorable. I have best wishes to all current and former students of Rani Bhabani High School. I have respect
to all teachers as well.”
Rani Bhabani Model Government High School was established in 1939.
Meanwhile, Konal said that after Eid, she is scheduled to perform
in several stage shows.
It is noted that Konal won the National Film Award for the first time in category of ‘Best Playback Singer’ in Kazi Hayat’s ‘Bir’ movie in 2020. Imran was her co-singer in the song.
