Jovan in ‘Nongor’, a story of different genre

Jovan and Tasnia Farin came to much discussion by acting in a drama titled ‘Otirikto’ under
the direction of Rafat Mazumdar Rinku, a
talented young dramatist. The drama was aired on Deepto TV in July last year. Jovan and Tasnia Farin were awarded ‘Deepto TV Award’ for their performances in the drama. Director Rafat Mazumdar Rinku also received the award as
a director. Rafat Mazumdar Rinku
produced the drama ‘Nongor’ with Jovan and Tasnia Farin again. Muntaha Britta wrote the drama. She also wrote the drama ‘Otirikto.’
While talking about acting in the drama ‘Nongor,’ Jovan told this correspondent, “The story of the drama ‘Nongor’ is basically the story of two persons. In the first scene, the male person is associated with Pathao service. The female person came to Dhaka city with the bag in hand. The female
person who comes for the male person, he does not come to take her. So, I accompany the female person. The story of the drama goes on. It is a very beautiful story drama. This is not a story of love or romance.
I really like acting in the drama. Farin’s
beginning was with us in media. Farin has taken herself to a very good position by working in many good story based dramas. Seeing her position, I like all of us.”
