390 students get Tabs in Nilphamai

Tablet computers (tab) were distributed among 390 meritorious students of 65 High Schools as a gift from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the district today to build ‘Smart Bangladesh’.
Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, handed over the tabs as the chief guest at a function held at District Shilpakala Academy recently.
The chief guest urged all students to respect their own intentions. He also suggested guardians to discover their children’s inner power while speaking in the function.
With Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Jesmine Nahar in the chair, the function was addressed, among others, by District Statistics Officer Md Ataur Rahman, Upazila Parishad (UP) Chairman Shahid Mahmud, Vice-chairman Dipak Chakraborty and Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Ali Shahriar.
Students, teachers and parents of different institutions were also present at the event.
