‘BNP-Jamaat wants to thwart continuity of democracy’

Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim said BNP-Jamaat wants to thwart continuity of democracy of the country.
“BNP-Jamaat wants to go in state power through illegal way,” he said this while a food distribution function organized by Awami Swechchhasebak League among helpless people was held in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at city’s Dhanmondi-32.
Bahauddin said BNP-Jamaat is a terrorist and undemocratic party and they want to destroy the people’s right as the party don’t want to protect the constitution.
He also said BNP-Jamaat wants to create public sufferings in the name of movement in the country and they do the movement with terrorists, reports BSS.
“Awami League does politics for the people and we will work for betterment of the countrymen under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said.
“The present government is working to build Bangabandhu’s Sonar Bangla and we will remain alert against BNP-Jamaat’s any sorts of conspiracy,” he added.
Awami Swechchhasebak League’s acting President Gazi Mesbaul Hossain Shachchu preside over the function and its General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu moderated it, while AL Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam and Deputy Office Secretary Sayem Khan, among others, were spoke in the meeting.
