Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places with mainly dry weather and temporary partly cloudy sky, a met office press release said on Thursday.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country”, said the weather forecast valid for next 24 hours from 9 am yesterday,
Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia and it may spread, it said.
Country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 37.1 degrees Celsius at Chuadanga while minimum temperature on Thurssday was 18.8 degree Celsius at Rajarhat.
