after receiving a lifetime award.
As she is working in new serials, she
is also working in dramas around Eid.
It can be said that after receiving the lifetime award, Dolly Zahur’s new
acting journey has started. However, outside of the course of her acting career, two new identities were added to her name as adjectives. She is
a playwright and director.
Dolly Zahur gave direction of a telefilm for the first time. She has already completed the production of the telefilm to air on Channel i in the first week of April. She is very happy to finish the telefilm. While sharing her feelings in this regard, Dolly Zahur told this correspondent, “I have been planning the story of the telefilm ‘Darkak’ for quite some time. I wanted to work in a comfort zone. When I expressed my interest in producing the story to Channel i’s Ibn Hasan Khan, I never thought I would be so inspired. I am grateful to Ibn Hasan Khan and above all to the Channel i family. Also thanks to Tanjika Amin and new actor Esaj Zobayer. The story of ‘Darkak’ is mainly based on Jobayer. So, I have the support of the entire unit especially those who were my assistants, Tanjika Amin and everyone else who was there was very helpful. I don’t know how much the audience will like it. But I tried to make the telefilm from my experience.”
Tanjika Amin said, “It is my privilege to act in the first telefilm directed by our all beloved Dolly mother, who made it with such earnestness that it is expected to be a good work. From the beginning of my acting career, I have received tremendous support from Dolly mother and she was the first to tell me to get into the character and nurture it in myself, and then act like that character. I try to do that today.”
