BUFT organises Spring 2023 orientation program

BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) organized an orientation program for the newly admitted students of Spring 2023 semester at its main campus on Monday.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, BUFT, Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, MP, was the Chief Guest of the program who graced the occasion by his presence. He spoke on the contributions of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and how he envisioned education to be the strength and backbone of the nation.
Mohiuddin encouraged the students to work hard to be successful in life.
Pro Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan presided over the session. Several BUFT Trustee Board Members including Md. Moshiul Azam (Shajal), Mohammed Nasir, Md. Jakir Hossain and Abdullah Hil Rakib also attended the program and spoke on the occasion.
Treasurer and Dean of the Faculty of Apparel Studies Prof. Dr. Abdul Jalil delivered the welcome address.
Dean of Faculty of Business Studies Distinguished Prof. Md Muinuddin Khan, Dean of Faculty of Engineering Studies, Dr. Sirajul Karim Choudhury, Dean of Faculty of Textile Engineering Prof. Dr. Engr. Abu Bakr Siddique, Dean of Faculty of Apparel Studies Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Dean of Faculty of Fashion Studies Prof. Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain addressed the audience in the opening session. Registrar Md. Rafiquzzaman ended the session with a vote of thanks.
Faculty members, officials, staff of BUFT, the newly admitted students and their guardians were also present at the function.
