Mamo again under the direction of Abul Hayat

Almost two years ago, National Film Award winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo acted in
a drama under the direction of Ekushey Padak winner noted actor and director Abul Hayat. After a break, Mamo again acted in another drama under the direction of Abul Hayat. Title of the drama is ‘Olot Palot.’ The story of the drama is written by Rabeya Khatun while Abul Hayat has scripted it.
Abul Hayat informed that the shooting of the drama has already been completed at Betila Zamindar House
in Manikganj.
While talking about Mamo’s acting in this drama, Abul Hayat told this correspondent, “Mamo has acted with me in many dramas before as a co-star. She has also acted in plays directed by me. As an actress, she undoubtedly performs very well.
Her character in the drama ‘Olot Palot’ directed by me is in one word an extraordinary character. Her dedication to acting impressed me. She tried to portray her character properly
in the drama. I hope the audience will like the drama when it airs.”
Abul Hayat said that the drama will be aired on Channel i soon. Besides Mamo and Abul Hayat, Shirin Alam, Rawnak Hasan, among others, also acted
in the drama.
Meanwhile, Khijir Hayat Khan-directed movie titled ‘Ora Shatjon’ starring Mamo has already released. Mamo’s performance in the movie is being appreciated by the
audience. It is a story of movie based on the Liberation War.
Due to which the movie is gaining
importance mainly for those who are interested in watching this type of movie. Director Khijir Hayat Khan is more optimistic about the movie. Filmmakers expressed hope that making such a movie
for the state should inspire everyone to watch the film.
