Shanta Jahan in role of judge of students

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Shanta Jahan, whose presentation
in television and stage shows is
impeccable, has served as a judge
in a competition organised by an
educational institution for the first time. She worked as a judge for the ‘Language and Drama’ competition among the students of BAF Shaheen College located in Mohakhali of the
capital recently. She has already
completed her work as a judge. However, since February 21 was
the International Mother Language Day, the college organised an annual competition. Shanta Jahan
was also present there.
Shanta said about serving as a judge for such a college event, “For me it is very likeable to act as a judge for such a traditional college competition. When the college authorities offered me this offer, I agreed because this is the college where my son Rudro is admitted in his first year of high school. However, the college authorities did not know that.
So, it was a matter of great joy, pride and love for me. Rudro also liked the matter and was excited because I worked as a judge of the college where he is
a student. So, the whole thing was memorable to me. I am grateful to the college authorities for involving me as
a judge in such an event. At the same time, I tried my best to do the work
of the judge properly.”
Meanwhile, Shanta Jahan informed
that she has two shows in Dhaka and outside Dhaka on February 24 and 25 respectively, where she will present.
She constantly gets offers to act in
dramas. But for now, she is not interested in acting in drama. She wants to act in a good story movie hose story should be good and she will play a central role in the story, said Shanta Jahan.
