Dhallywood’s popular actress Mahiya Mahi starrer movie titled ‘Bubujaan’ directed by Shamim Ahmed Rony
has been released in 21 cinema
halls across the country on Friday (February 17), said a press release.
‘Bubujaan’ were released in Roots Cineclub (Sirajganj), Monihar (Jashore), Motin (Dinajpur), Tamanna (Syedpur), Sena Auditorium (Savar), Chhayabani (Mymensingh), Chandrima (Sripur), Shonkho (Khulna), Chand Mohol (Kanchpur), Nondita (Sylhet), Chitra Mohol (Dhaka), Shyamoli (Dhaka), Ananda (Dhaka), BGB (Dhaka), New Metro (Narayanganj), Geet (Dhaka), Sainik Club (Dhaka), Taj (Naogaon), Abhiruchi (Barisal), Cinema Palace (Chattogram) and Mohansingh (Habiganj), according to the release.
The movie aspires to raise
awareness about violence against women. The director himself wrote the story of the ‘Bubujaan.’
Mahiya Mahi played the central role in this movie while Shanto Khan played the role of her brother.
Apart from this, the movie also casts Nishat Nawar Salwa, Saberi Alam, Misha Sawdagor, Amit Hasan, Deepa Khandaker, Joyraj, among others.
