Kumar Bishwajit performs today at Cumilla Cadet College

Bangladesh’s popular band star late Ayub Bachchu and popular singer Kumar Bishwajit are two friends. Eight years ago, Bachchu and Bishwajit
performed on same stage at the reunion programme of Mirzapur Cadet College in Tangail. Kumar Bishwajit said that show with Ayub Bachchu remained the best show of his life. Biswajit had earlier also charmed the cadets of Barishal Cadet College, Sylhet Cadet College and Fouzdarhat Cadet College in Chattogram by listening to their
songs on the stage. In that sequence, he will sing the song again to the cadets.
On February 10 (today), Kumar Bishwajit will perform in a stage show on the premises of Cumilla Cadet College at the reunion function of the college. The singer himself confirmed the news yesterday.
While talking in this regrad, Kumar Bishwajit told this correspondent, “I really like to stand and sing in front of the cadet college’s cadets. Meanwhile, I have rendered songs in several cadet colleges during this time. But singing on the same stage at Mirzapur Cadet College with my very dear friend late Ayub Bachchu eight years ago remains memorable in my life. Because I had a performance before dinner and Bachchu was sitting in a car in a corner of the field enjoying my performance without telling anyone. Bachchu was saying that for a long time he did not enjoy my performance. So, basically he was enjoying my performance sitting in the car without telling anyone. I was very pleased when the matter was told to me later. So, when I went to the cadet college ceremony, I remembered Bachchu’s words. Today, I am going to Cumilla Cadet College, remembering Bachchu as usual. Of course, I always remember his words. May God rest his soul in peace.”
