Bobita was in movie ‘Kotha Dilam’ 43 years ago, this time Keya plays her role

became very popular at that time. Mohammad Rafiq Uz Zaman wrote lyrics of the playback song while Alam Khan composed its music. After exactly 43 years in the month of February i.e. today (on February 10), the movie ‘Kotha Dilam’ is being released again across the country. This time, popular film actress of this generation Sabrina Sultana Keya played the role of Bobita in the movie ‘Kotha Dilam.’ From today (Friday), the movie is going to release in 13 cinema halls in and outside Dhaka.
Actress Kaya was busy for several days for the movie ‘Kotha Dilam,’ directed by Rakibul Alam Rakib. After a break for quite some time, Kaya is also very busy with the promotions of her new movie that has released.
Keya informed that as a part of the promotional campaign of her new movie, she also visited Amar Ekushey Book Fair. She went to the book fair on Febraury 7.
While talking about the movie ‘Kotha Dilam,’ legendary actress Bobita told this correspondent, “Kotha Dilam’ was one of my acted most popular viewers’ choice movies. This movie is going to release again by same title. Best wishes for all, also for Keya.”
While talking about her acting her new movie and also its promotions, Keya told this correspondent, “This is the first time I went to a book fair for a movie. I really enjoyed promoting the movie at the book fair. Those whom I met at the book fair, knowing about my new movie ‘Kotha Dilam’ from me, they expressed their interest to go to the cinema hall and expressed keen interest to watch the movie. The story of this movie is social. I went to the book fair to promote the movie because it is a social story based cinema. But I will say that I have not worked on this type of story before. ‘Kotha Dilam’ is a wonderful movie with a rural setting. I am very optimistic about the songs of the movie. I promise you all will love this movie.”
Keya informed that she played the role of a chairman’s daughter in the movie. Abdullah Zahir Babu wrote dialogues of the movie.
Meanwhile, Keya starrer movies ‘Yes Madam,’ and ‘Shimana,’ directed by Rakibul Alam Rakib; ‘Bonolata,’ directed by Ali Azad; ‘Munafik,’ directed by Evan Mollick; ‘Jol Joshna,’ directed by Mehedi Hasan; and ‘Kathgolap,’ directed by Sajjad Hossain, are waiting to get release dates, said the actress.
