Actor Abdul Aziz in CCU after massive heart attack

Noted actor Abdul Aziz has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital (BIRDEM) in the capital after suffering a massive
heart attack on Saturday.
S M Kamruzzaman Sagar, General Secretary of Director’s Guild,
posted the news on his Facebook account. He wrote: “Director’s Guild esteemed member, actor, and director, Abdul Aziz suffered a heart attack around 8:00pm on Saturday! He has been admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital (BIRDEM). He is currently being kept in the CCU. Everyone please pray
for his health.”
Abdul Aziz has been acting on stage, radio, TV and cinema for the last few decades. He has worked in over 1,600 radio dramas.
The actor has not been working actively in recent years. But he is regularly seen in the country’s most popular magazine programme, ‘Ityadi.’ His acted latest movie, ‘Rickshaw Girl,’ directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, is currently awaiting release.
