Dilruba Sathi ends journey with Channel i after 13 years

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Dilruba Sathi has proved that minds of how many
people can be won over by presentation only. Sathi
is one of the favourite faces of the private satellite
channel, Channel i. Dilruba Sathi and her aesthetic presentation at the special days’ programmes including Channel i’s regular shows ‘Taroka Kothon’ and ‘Gaan Diye Shuru’ would have increased the interest of the audience towards the event. Not only that, the quality of the programme also increased a lot. Dilruba Sathi has ended her 13-year long journey with Channel i.
This favourite face of the audience will never be seen again. While talking in this regard, Dilruba Sathi told this correspondent, “I spent the golden 13 years of my life with the Channel i family. Although this was my fourth job, I did not get less than what I gave in this job. With love and respect, I have learned to believe that Channel i is my family. I did not understand how so many years passed with the guidance, love and support of my amazing colleagues including Faridur Reza Sagar Bhai, Shykh Seraj Bhai, Amirul Islam Bhai and others. Ended the journey with them but the relationship will remain the same with my Channel i. The vessel of the heart is filled with memories.”
During childhood, Sathi acted in many dramas as a child artiste. Apart from anchoring and acting, she has tried modelling and matching herself. She became model of TVCs of Canca DVD, Nova Television, Smart Mehedi, etc.
Sathi got appreciation by the audience by playing the title role in the drama ‘Hoimonti.’ ‘Eimatro Pawa Khobor,’ ‘Kare Tumi Basho Bhalo,’ ‘Fine Jamai,’ ‘Atripto Kamona,’ etc are her acted mentionable dramas.
Since childhood, Sathi’s mother and father have been supporting her to work in the cultural arena. When Sathi was only three and a half years old, she was admitted to Shilpakala Academy to learn dance. Since then, she made herself proficient in dancing.
Dilruba Sathi said, “Ammu used to say, ‘you have to survive by fighting, you have to get media space with your work. We don’t want to see you in any event by recommending anyone.’ In this way, my parents have been supporting me since the beginning.”
