Pitha Utsab at Ishakha Int’l University

A day long Pitha Utsab was arranged by the Dept. of English at Ishakha International University, Bangladesh yesterday. Around 60 types of delicious pithas were exhibited in this festival and among them vapa, chitoi, patisapta, puli, bibikhana, jamai pitha, shorisha pitha, lobon pitha, sujir chomchom, mosla pitha, dudh chitoi, mosla pitha, basabusa, maser pitha, mangser pitha were mentionable. The program was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Priya Brata Paul. It was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT), Farzana Khanom, Chairman of English Dept. Md. Badrul Huda Sohel, Assistant Prof. Md. Al Mursalin Samrat, Lecturer Ms. Mahbuba, Lecturer Asma Parvin, Lecturer Mahmud Al Hasan, Lecturer Naima Akter and many others. The whole program was coordinated by Md. Rakibul Hasan, an Assistant Professor of the Dept. The teachers and the students of all other departments joined the festival with great enthusiasm. This day long program ends with an enchanting cultural session.
