Singer Himadrita Parna joins Colors Bangla TV’s cooking show

Bangladeshi singer Himadrita Porna joined a cooking show for colors Bangla TV, ‘Rannaghorer Goppo’ in Kolkata, India.
Hosted by Kolkata’s actress Sudipta Chakraborty, Parna cooked ‘Khoi Chhanar Marmura,’ an item popular in Bardhawan, in the show.
The singer herself confirmed the news recently.
Parna informed that she recently visited to India for recording of a few songs with renowned singers Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Nachiketa Chakraborty and Zaved Ali. Then, she joined the cooking show.
The special episode of the show was aired on the occasion of the birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on January 23 on Colors Bangla TV. Later, in the programme, Parna rendered her original song, composed by Dolan Mainak of Kolkata, , said the singer.
Parna also told this correspondent that she lent her voice for a playback song for a movie, which was made on the basis of the Historic March 7 Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Riaz and Mamo acted in lead roles in this movie. The movie will be released soon.
