Kona covered her own song after 16 years

singer Dilshad Nahar Kona has rendered a new song that she sang 16 years ago today. Title of the song is: ‘Akash e Sobai Chai Urte.’ This song was used in a drama serial titled ‘Aim In Life.’ Masud Sezan wrote lyrics of
the song while Polash Nur composed its music. Amzad Hossain has music of this
song in new way. The song was released
on Kona’s own YouTube channel on
Thursday, said the singer.
While talking about the song, singer Kona told this correspondent, “I originally
rendered the song ‘Akash e Sobai Chai Urte’ about 16 years ago in the drama serial
‘Aim In Life.’ Since it is an old song, it is sometimes listened to on YouTube. I saw that the listeners have very good comments about this song. A few days ago, I sang the acoustic version of the song, it was quite good. That’s why I made the music video of the song with Saikat Reza. Overall, it seems that the song is better now. More perfection has come to the song. I like the song even more. For this
reason, I have released the song on my YouTube channel yesterday. I hope everyone likes the new version of the song.”
It is noted that Kona for the first time got the National Film Award in 2020 for rendering the song titled ‘Tui Ki Aamar Hobire’ in Chayanika Chowdhury directed movie ‘Bishwosundori.’ Kabir Bakul wrote lyrics of this song while singer Imran Mahmudul
composed its music. Imran Mahmudul was also co-singer of Kona in the song.
