Aupee Karim starrer ‘Mayar Jonjal’ to be released in theatres in Feb

Bangladesh-India joint venture movie titled ‘Mayar Jonjal (Debris of Desire)’ has gained much appreciation and praises from multiple international festivals. Finally, the movie is all set to hit the theatres in Bangladesh and India next month. The first look of the movie was unveiled on Saturday, said a press release.
Produced by Josim Ahmed from Bangladesh and directed by Indian filmmaker Indranil Roychowdhury, the movie marks the comeback of popular Bangladeshi actress Aupee Karim on the silver screen after 15 years.
The movie also features celebrated Indian actor Ritwick Chakraborty, Shohel Mondal, Chandreyee Ghosh, and Bratya Basu.
The movie is based on Manik Bandopadhyay’s two short stories, titled ‘Bishakto Prem’ and ‘Shubola.’
The movie ‘Mayar Jonjal’ first premiered at the 23rd Shanghai International Film Festival. It was officially selected for screening at Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF).
