Muhin Khan holds Nat’l Film Award for ‘Close-Up 1′ family

In 2006, Muhin Khan became the first runner-up in
the musical reality show, ‘Close Up 1.’ He won the
love of the audience with his original songs as well.
After a long journey with music, Muhin Khan is enlisted to get the National Film Award 2021 for the first time in the playback singer category. He will get the award for the song titled ‘Shonate Esechhi Aj Podmopuran’ in the movie ‘Podmopuran,’ directed by Rashid Polash.
It is mentioned that Muhin Khan will also be the first musician to win the National Film Award from the family of ‘Close-Up 1.’ While sharing his feelings after knowing the news, Muhin told this correspondent, “I have come where I am today because of the love of the audience. I am really overwhelmed with the verdict the jury board gave me considering my song and my rendering songs overall. I believe this national award has increased my sense of responsibility towards my works.”
Besides being a musician, Muhin Khan is also a music director and composer. Now he is working on music direction for six new movies, he said.
